We want to shoot some planes taking off and landing.
Bridge / Creek
We do see some stuff from the 60s and 90s around the "city streets"
"creek". Characters actually get in the water for a scene.
Biggest location. We see it in the 60s and mid 90s. I don't think it really matters if it's old or new in the 60s. We don't have any plans to do any builds or big changes to the structure to go from the 60s to the 90s
We have to shoot a LOT in the house. We're likely looking to own it for about 2 weeks. Depending on when we can start dressing.
The middle brother in the script is a preacher and he ends up in the house in the 90s. Therefore we think it wouldn't change TOO much going into the future. It goes without saying that we'd love to find a place with a bunch of stuff that we could use in there but we're prepared to dress head to toe.
It would be great to find a place that would allow us to possibly install some speedrail and we'd pay for repairs.
It's a house big enough for a family of 5. Mom dad and 3 boys. Here's what we'll see in the house and what years:
Exterior (front yard) - We'll have a bbq set in the 60s, and then we'll see it for some exteriors in the 90s. Pretty much just need enough space to park a car or 2 in the front, as there are some scenes that require it. It also has a patio and street in front in the script.
Gas Station 1959
This would be the Lockhart town square, where we "wreck the car". Probably looking at 2 overnights here.
Some surreal stuff in a white room. We may actually shoot this at the production office. I don't think we plan to paint a room white but hey. If someone in Lockhart will let us do it, maybe...
We have a good amount of driving scenes, so we'll have to figure our stretches of road, ITC, etc. TBD.
